FUNCTION

The Order Fulfillment Process Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order fulfillment process to ensure alignment between demand forecasting, production capacity, inventory levels, and on-time delivery to OEM customers fluctuating demands. This role focuses on optimizing supply chain efficiency, enhancing order fulfillment performance, and aligning business operations with strategic goals. Manages functions and systems related to ALL demand (Finished goods, service, inter-factory, aftermarket, etc.) estimates/forecast and schedule development, ending with order acceptance.

Order Fulfillment Management:

Oversee the order fulfillment process. Analyzes data and proposes improvements to the process, influencing other functional areas.

Timely and accurate processing of customer orders, minimizing lead times and backlogs.

Ensures that order placement, processing and all related activities are completed in a timely manner.

Forecasting > > Demand Planning > > Production & Inventory Planning (SIOP) > > EDI Forecast Transmission > > Receives and integrates the forecast into ERP system > > EDI Order Transmission > > Processes the order, checking it against the forecast > > Order Acknowledgment & Confirmation > > Sales Order Creation in alignment with Sales Lead times.

Address and resolve order-related issues, including delays, discrepancies, and customer complaints.

Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance order fulfillment efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead times, order accuracy, and fulfillment rates, driving continuous improvement.

Work closely with OEM supply chain teams to proactively address demand fluctuations and emergency order requirements.



Lead the SIOP process to align supply and demand, ensuring operational efficiency and inventory optimization.

Collaborate with sales, finance, production, and supply chain teams to develop and maintain an accurate demand planning model based on historical data, customer forecasts, and market trends.

Owns and maintains factory constraints/policy alignment. Negotiates internal and external flexibility agreements.

Conduct monthly SIOP meetings, analyzing data and providing recommendations for capacity planning and resource allocation to align operations with OEM forecasts.

Identify risks and opportunities in supply planning, proactively addressing potential disruptions.

Ensure capacity planning aligns with OEM production ramps, new product launches, and engineering changes.



Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

Drive collaboration across departments to align business objectives with order fulfillment and SIOP processes.

Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and improve supply chain visibility.

Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Work with IT teams to optimize ERP/MRP systems for better order and inventory management to enhance visibility and control over supply chain operations.

Performs administrative duties related to managing performance, salary pay, resource planning, budget, team training and development of direct reports to maintain core competencies and build new capabilities.
